Fabrication of Wheeler Cap for Radiation Efficiency Measurement of VHF Band Antenna Using Human Body as Element

(in English) A paper shows the possibility of using the human body as an antenna element in terms of radiation efficiency, electric field distribution, and radiation directivity. In the paper, the simulation results by the FDTD method show that the radiation efficiency is the highest at 70 MHz, which is 43.2%. In this study, we fabricate a Wheeler cap and measured the radiation efficiency of a VHF antenna using the human body as an element to verify the validity of the simulation results.
