Measuring the luminance contrast sensitivity function in the superior and inferior visual fields

(in English) Human contrast sensitivity functions, measured from human contrast detection thresholds as functions of spatial frequency, are useful for applications in graphics rendering, saliency analysis, and so on. In this report, we showed luminance contrast detection thresholds measured in the superior and inferior visual fields with Gabor stimuli. We combined the two-interval forced-choice and PSI methods. We also discussed differences between the measured data and predictions by previously proposed CSF models.
