Dynamic switching of accommodation-invariant regions of approximated super multi-view head-mounted display

(in English) We have previously proposed an approximated super multi-view display which generates the accommodation-invariant (AI) region by synchronously shifting the parallax images and the viewpoints to mitigate the vergence-accommodation conflict of head-mounted displays. In this study, the shift directions of the parallax images and the viewpoints are altered to be identical and opposite directions to generate the AI region in rear and front of the virtual screen, respectively. The depth of focus range generated near the virtual screen, when the shifts are not used, are added to the two AI ranges and the three ranges are dynamically switched to enlarge the AI region.
