Increase of field of view of hologram contact lens using spherical wave illumination

(in English) We previously proposed a holographic contact lens which can produce focusable images for eyes by displaying hologram patterns on the spatial light modulator (SLM) embedded in the contact lens. In the conventional configuration, since plane wave illumination was used, the field of view for 3D images, which depends on the pixel pitch of the spatial light modulator, was only a few degrees. In this study, we propose a technique that uses spherical wave illumination so that the field of view depends on the hologram size. The proposed technique can significantly increase the field of view.
