An analysis for displaying a motionless aerial point in arc 3D display while observers move their head

(in English) In an arc 3D display, we analyzed how to make scratches to display motionless image points in air which can be observed from any positions. We conducted simulations to validate our proposed method. Conventional arc 3D displays were made by adding arc-shaped scratches on flat film and observed as it is. So, it is concerned that the images would be distorted due to the curvature of the display such as a cone. The proposed method is expected to make it possible to create cylindrical or conical arc 3D displays that can be observed from all sides.
