In the RMA (Retroreflective Mirror Array) we are developing, it is necessary to change the physical distancebetween the 2D display and the RMA in order to change the projection distance of the aerial image. In this study, we testedwhether the depth perception position of the aerial image can be changed by detecting the observer's eye position and changingthe motion parallax of the aerial image, without changing the physical distance between the 2D display and the RMA. The resultsof the experiment suggested that some subjects tended to change their depth perception position by changing the motion parallax. |
