Analysis of Distortions of Aerial Imaging by Misalignment of a Glass Plate in Retroreflective Mirror Array

(in English) Retroreflective Mirror Array (RMA) can display aerial imaging at long focal lengths with little degradation in image quality. However, the aerial imaging displayed is distorted, and this distortions affects evaluation of the aerial imaging. We presumed that one of the causes is misalignment of angle and position of a glass plate placed inside an RMA, and analysed how misalignment of a glass plate affects the distortions of the aerial imaging. In this presentation, we report the results of a simulation of the distortions of the aerial imaging due to the misalignment, and the results of a comparison of the actual distortions with the simulation results.
