Stabilizing Variable Filters Using Inverse Trigonometric Functions

(in English) Digital-signal-processing (DSP) applications require a digital filter to change its frequency responses in a timely manner during filtering operations. This can be achieved through using a variable digital filter (VDF). When dealing with a VDF that involves feedback circuits, it is mandatory to ensure its stability.
This paper first details how to ensure the stability by employing a coefficient-transformation tactic, and then describes a pair of novel functions used for the coefficient transformations.
