[Invited Talk] Organic Light-Emitting Diode Operated by Extremely Low Driving Voltage

(in English) Reducing driving voltage of organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) is an essential issue for energy conservation. In this study, the driving voltage of OLEDs was reduced by using upconversion process of excited states through triplet-triplet annihilation near the interface and by improving the efficiency of the process through the development of new material combinations. As a result, we developed an OLED with an ultra-low driving voltage that can emit light at 1.5 V.
