Multi-view DFD (Depth-fused 3D) Rendering with Linear Blending

(in English) In this study, the number of viewpoints of a stacked multi-view display can be pseudo-increased by combining multi-view DFD rendering and linear blending. In a multi-view display, the depth range is limited due to blurring of 3D images. Currently, stacking multi-view displays were proposed to expand the depth range that can be displayed, but the number of viewpoints is not taken into account. However, the number of viewpoints is limited in a real multi-view display. Therefore, we propose a method to pseudo-increase the number of viewpoints using linear blending. The depth of 3D images was evaluated at several camera-to-camera distances.
