Wave-optical characteristics of wavefield calculated using ray-sampling plane

(in English) The ray-sampling plane (RSP) method is a powerful method for calculating object waves from multi-viewpoint images in full-parallax high-definition CGHs. However, the basic properties in wave optics have not been reported in the ray-wavefront conversion. In this study, we numerically and theoretically analyze the basic properties of the wavefield obtained by the ray-wavefront conversion, such as the field of view, viewing angle, image position. A method based on the analysis is proposed for calculating full-color high-definition CGHs without chromatic aberration using RSP.
