Exploring Source-free Domain Adaption in Multiple Object Tracking

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In MOT, the task involves detecting and tracking objects across continuous frames, presenting challenges such as occlusion, motion blur, and domain shifts. Domain shifts occur when there is a change in the statistical distribution of data, posing a significant obstacle to MOT systems' performance. To overcome the limitations of traditional MOT frameworks in the face of domain shifts, we explore the way settling source-free domain adaptation approach with OC-SORT framework. The adaptability of OC-SORT is evaluated through experiments on different datasets, MOT17 and DanceTrack, demonstrating its resilience to domain shifts. Furthermore, we explore algorithms for
source-free domain adaptation, incorporating Mean Teacher and Pseudo Label strategies.
