In this study, a Turing pattern is used to mimic a falling droplet. In fluid dynamics, it is difficult to handle splitting and merging of boundaries in multiphase flows using the Cartesian grid method. Therefore, we apply the Turing pattern, which has common points with the Cartesian lattice method, to produce a droplet drop model with a clear boundary between the liquid and gas ranges. This method can maintain the boundary of the droplet without subdividing the lattice. |
