Study on the Impact of Biological Functions and Personality Traits on Shooting Operations in FPS Games

This paper analyzes the effects of players' biological functions and personality traits on shooting maneuvers in order to establish a training methodology for FPS games. 12 subjects played two different games, and heart rate variability, eye movement, hit rate, and mouse operation were measured. Personality traits were analyzed with a questionnaire and 16 Personalities. It was found that increased heart rate and wrist axis mouse manipulation affected shooting accuracy, and that players with certain personality types had higher ability. |
