Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, there has been much attention paid to the movement to revitalize local regions through the power of animation. Considering this mechanism from the perspective of user innovation, it is suggested that the expected benefit hypothesis and the information stickiness hypothesis may work on entities other than manufacturers and users, such as animation production companies and animation fans, i.e., regions, and innovation may be generated. In addition, if the created innovation itself can serve as a medium to strengthen social relational capital, it may promote the creation of a related population and improve the sustainability of regional innovation..
