Design and development of AR 3D Display Viewable from 360 Degrees Using Mirror Strip

(in English) When using 3D display for advertising and exhibition, it is desirable that many people can view a 3D image at the same time.
In addition, if this 3D display can superimpose a 3D image on a real object, it will be much more convenient for advertising. Superimposing 3D display viewable from 360-degrees has been proposed as a 3D display with the above features. However, it has a problem that a 3D image is distorted when a viewpoint position is shifted vertically from the assumed position. Previously, we have confirmed that 3D image distortion can be reduced by using a mirror tilted at 45 degrees. In this report, we have designed the parameters of the system and fabricated an actual machine based on the parameters.
