Occlusion processing for hologram generation using light-field modulated zone plates

(in English) We previously proposed a hologram generation technique which modulates the zone plates using the light-field information. This technique can generate sharp three-dimensional images in space, unlike the conventional light-field wavefront conversion techniques based on the integral photography. The hologram generation techniques using the zone plate method have the issue for the occlusion representation. In this study, we propose a hologram calculation technique that can correctly represent the occlusion effect by modifying the light-field modulation scheme. The effectiveness of the proposed occlusion processing was experimentally verified.
