High-resolution 3D Model Creation and LoD Representation of Artworks Using Photogrammetry

(in English) Photogrammetry technology, which reconstructs three-dimensional shapes from multiple photographs, enables anyone to create 3D models easily. However, creating higher-resolution 3D models requires a vast amount of data, leading to difficulties in viewing. Therefore, in this study, we processed the 3D point clouds of artworks reconstructed by photogrammetry, such as downsampling, and implemented Level of Detail (LoD) representation to enable the creation of high-resolution 3D models while ensuring smooth viewing.
