TV Asahi has been conducting its own research and development for some time, but in many cases, development staff members have developed their own products according to their own projects, making it difficult to strategically control the direction of development, manpower, budget allocation, and other aspects of the company. To address this situation, a cross-sectional in-house R&D team, the “Technical Lab,” was established to centrally manage development projects and establish a system to centrally manage development genres, manpower, budgets, and progress. In this report, we will provide an overview of the Technical Laboratory and the technical development and operation of the TV station. |
