Flexible Imager with Organic Photodetector for Sensing Applications

We developed a flexible organic imager comprising low-temperature polycrystalline silicon thin-film transistors and organic photodiodes. The developed flexible imager has high-resolution and high-speed readout characteristics. Owing to these characteristics, pulse wave signals can be measured, and the images of fingerprints and veins can be obtained. Furthermore, we developed three-axis tactile pressure sensors by integrating optical components with flexible organic imager. |
