Because of excellent spectral property, computer-generated volume holograms (CGVH) can reconstruct bright and sharp 3D images using broadband white LED lighting. Although only small CGVH with approximately 5 cm square could be fabricated before due to limitation on the output power of the transfer light source, a novel technique called tiling contact-copy allows us to fabricate large-scale CGVH. High-quality large-scale CGVH more than 18 cm square is reported in this paper and exhibited in the conference site. |
