Magnification-Ratio Measurement on Retina for Aerial Image Formed Just Behind Observer

(in English) We clarify magnification-ratio on retina for aerial image formed just behind the observer. Normally, aerial display is observed from an appropriate distance from the image plane. The image on the retina becomes larger as the observer moves closer to the image plane. Since an aerial display has no physical screen at image plane, the image formed behind the observer
can be observed beyond the image plane. In this study, we clarified that the image size increases by 7.8 times when the image is formed just behind the eye.
