Beyond 5G/6G mobile communication systems aim to realize high-speed, high-capacity mobile communication services covering a wider area by building NTNs (non-terrestrial networks) using HAPS (high altitude platform), LEO (low earth orbit) satellites, and GEO (geostationary satellites). In this presentation, in addition to introducing recent domestic and international research and development trends in NTN and space exploration, We will also introduce the authors’ work on large-capacity phased array antenna devices for base stations, communication quality and positioning error evaluation of stratospheric balloons flying over Antarctica and Australia using Iridium satellites, and measurement evaluation via Arduino WiFi of a high-precision MEMS pressure sensor that can be mounted on a stratospheric aircraft. |
