For the coming trillion-sensor universe， we have proposed a CMOS image sensor pixel that can extract a feature for energy-efficient image recognition． The pixel sensitivity， however， is degraded due to the pixel-binning needed for the feature extraction in a pixel array. In this work， we propose a feature-extractable CMOS image sensor pixel with improved sensitivity using a shared pixel architecture． Device simulation results are presented to verify the performance of the proposed pixel．
