In recent years, the developer-centric approach has been gaining attention in the development board market. This paper quantitatively evaluates the effectiveness of this approach by comparing the sales performance of M5Stack, a microcontroller board product that adopts a developer-centric strategy with a small-lot, multi-variety model, and Arduino, another open development board, in the Japanese market. |
