We have developed an Ultra-Low Latency Media Converter (LLMC) that leverages the low latency and high capacity features of the All-Photonics Network (APN), a core component of the IOWN initiative. This paper presents an overview of the LLMC technology and reports the results of performance measurements focusing on its ultra-low latency characteristics. |
