Proposal and Visualization of Aerial Depth-Fused 3D Display

(in English) Depth-Fused 3D (DFD) display method is a three-dimensional display method using depth perception fusion for multiple different depth two-dimensional displays. In this study, we proposed the new implementation method of DFD using the see-through aerial display which is composed by the hologram mirrors (HOEs) and the dihedral corner reflector array (DCRA). And we also built an experimental projection system combining the double see-through aerial display system which could form two different aerial images. By the experiment of this DFD projection method using the participants who had normal depth perception ability, the intermediate depth perceptions were confirmed. We expect our proposal will bring a new visual user interface combining aerial 3D display and gesture recognition．
