VR content creation about the ecology of brown bears

In order to prevent human casualties caused by brown bears, we created a VR content that allows users to learn about the ecology of brown bears in a realistic manner. To express the difficulty of seeing brown bears at night, we shot binocular 360-degree images. In addition, to allow users to observe brown bear traces in a realistic manner, we used photogrammetry technology to create 3DCG models of bear droppings and footprints, ensuring that users could immerse themselves in the observation experience. Through the production process, we identified filming challenges related to external environmental factors such as weather, temperature, and brightness. In this session, we will share the insights and challenges gained from the production process and discuss production methods in relation to filming shooting environments. |
