Convex projection for headphone driven by hemi-spherical loudspeaker array

(in English) In this paper, we develop the basic principle of a new headphone using a hemi-spherical speaker array. This headphone uses the speaker array to reproduce a desired sound field near an ear canal. By imposing a $l_2$-norm ball on the loss function, we derived a method based on convex projection that minimizes the error between the desired and the reproduced sound pressure while preventing an excessive increase in speaker gain that is likely to occur with the conventional pseudo-inverse method. Computer simulation results show that the proposed method achieve signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of approximately 20 dB while maintaining 0.00 dB of the speaker gains.
