We have previously proposed the light-field wavefront conversion technique which calculates the computer-generated holograms by superimposing zone plates modulated by light field information. In this study, the zone plate modulation scheme is modified such that the zone plates are modulated on the viewing-zone plane where the light-field information is captured. The modification improves the accuracy of the shading of reconstructed images. The proposed technique was experimentally verified.
