t In the A/D conversion of far-infrared image sensors, a method using integration of the signal current to generate a RAMP signal is considered. The time until this RAMP signal exceeds a reference voltage is measured using a clock counter to obtain a digital value. However, quantization error arises due to the comparator output and the clock timing. To improve conversion accuracy, this study proposes a technique that subdivides the clock cycle into eight phases by generating a 3-bit Gray code from a single master clock, and the design and implementation of the Gray code generation circuit. |
