Recipe Customization Support System Based on Arrangement Extraction FromLarge-Scale Recipe Data

(in English) Novice cooks often face difficulties when customizing existing recipes. Customization can be considered as adding operations that solve problems in existing recipes in accordance with a certain intention. In this study, we aim to develop the system that stores operations and intentions as customization knowledge and recommend candidate customization that can be applies to existing recipes. It is expected that many recipes posted in large-scale recipe data include operations that solve problems of the recipe. Therefore, we propose a system that extracts operations described in recipe data and uses a large-scale language model (LLM) to complement the "challenges" and "intentions" of the operation to generate customization knowledge. We also develop a system that considers recipes as state transitions of ingredients and presents possible customization knowledge that bring the same state changes as those of existing recipes.
