Development of C#/Python wrapper for multi-function class-library for wave-optical calculation: WFL.

Kansai University has developed and provided WFL (WaveField Library), a multifunctional class library for wave optical calculation, for over 20 years. However, because WFL is a C++ class library, the difficulty comes from the C++ language itself makes it difficult to use the library and develop GUI applications using WFL. To resolve the problem, we developed a wrapping software to use classes/methods implemented in WFL from C# and Python programming languages, which are very popular with many programmers, while maintaining the functionality and computational performance. |
