Time-Division Multiplexing Parallax Barrier Using Static Slits

This paper proposes a low-power time-division multiplexing parallax barrier system that replaces the dedicated barrier panel by projecting a vertical stripe barrier from an LED bar light through a fixed slit pattern. Stripe noise caused by this projection is cancelled by superimposing an inverse pattern on the image display panel. It has been demonstrated that the proposed method significantly reduces overall power consumption while maintaining display luminance. |
