Consideration of numerical reconstruction for incoherent digital holography considering wavelength bandwidth of recording light

Incoherent digital holography enables the recording and reconstruction of holograms with incoherent light by using a self-interference optical system. In the hologram recording process, light with the wavelength bandwidth of several tens of nanometers is used as incoherent light. In the reconstruction process, the conventional techniques have employed the diffraction calculations using the central wavelength of the wavelength bandwidth. In this study, we propose the use of the deconvolution technique using the wavelength bandwidth, instead of the central wavelength, for the hologram reconstruction. The effects of the proposed technique on the reconstructed images are experimentally evaluated. |
