This paper proposes a method for reconstructing the surface of wind turbine blades to facilitate their maintenance.
Managing damage to wind turbine blades requires tracking temporal changes by overlaying images captured at different inspection times.
This method reconstructs the 3D shape of the blade's surface by combining global shape estimation using QR codes with pixel-level disparity assessment.
Damage changes are captured by projecting and superimposing the captured images onto the reconstructed shape.
Experiments using actual images have demonstrated reconstruction, confirming the effectiveness of the proposed method.
Future work will improve the estimation model and evaluation methods to enhance reliability. |
