Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and information and communication technology (ICT) are transforming clinical psychology. This paper introduces applications of discriminative and generative AI, virtual reality (VR), and optical performance techniques to psychological support. Discriminative AI enables prediction of symptoms and treatment outcomes, while generative AI offers therapeutic dialogue through interactive agents. Moreover, VR self-counseling and light-based interventions, such as biofeedback and AR Awa Dance, demonstrate new approaches integrating clinical practice and artistic expression. These innovations highlight emerging possibilities for digital technology–based mental health care. |
