VANETを用いたNDNにおける動的キャッシュ法

VANET (Vehicular Ad hoc Networks)は車両やRSU (Roadside Unit)がノードとして形成されるアドホックネットワークの一種である．
近年ではVANETとNDN (Named Data Networking)の原理を統合したVNDN (Vehicular Named Data Networking)が次世代の車両通信システムとして注目されている．
VNDNはIPアドレスに基づいた通信とは異なり，コンテンツ名に基づいて通信し，VANETとの親和性が高いと考えられる．
しかし，VNDNでは車両移動により通信経路が切断され，コンテンツ配信ができない場合がある．
本稿では車両速度と，車両の移動方向を示す2つのベクトル間のコサイン類似度を用いて，通過が予想されるRSUに事前にコンテンツをキャッシュする手法を提案する．
提案手法の有効性を示すためシミュレーション実験を行い，コンテンツ配信率と配信コストの評価を行った． |

VNDN (Vehicular Named Data Networking) integrates the pronciples of NDN (Named Data Networking) into VANETs (Vehicular Ad hoc Networks), enabling content-centic communication without relying on IP addresses.
However, frequent disconnections caused by vehicle mobility can degrade communication performance.
To address this issue, this study proposes a dynamic caching method that stores data in advance at RSUs (Roadside
Units) located along the routes vehicles are likely to traverse.
The caching area is determined based on vehicle speed and the cosine similarity between direction vectors. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method improves content delivery ratio and optimizes network resource utilization. |
