In Japan, sightseeing support applications are being made multilingualization to host diverse foreign tourists. However, it is difficult to cover a large number of languages through multilingualization. Therefore, we prototyped a sightseeing support mobile application using only non-linguistic information. The key feature of this application is that the user interface is implemented using only non-linguistic information such as pictograms, images and Arabic numerals. Furthermore, by standardizing the operations for each function and the transitions between functions within this application, we implemented consistent user interaction. |
