Robust Skeleton-Based Action Recognition through Contrastive Language-Skeleton Feature Alignment

Recent years, skeleton-based action recognition has seen increasing application in diverse fields such as surveillance, sports analysis, and human behavior understanding, owing to its lightweight and robust representation capabilities. However, a challenge persists in real-world environments where certain joint coordinates are often missing
or noisy, leading to a significant performance degradation in existing skeleton models when confronted with this incomplete data. Therefore, this study proposes a Multi-Modal Local Feature Emphasis method. By conducting contrastive learning between features from local skeleton regions and corresponding local text features, we achieved a higher-performance
classification compared to existing models for action recognition with missing data. |
