The reproduction of the light environment inside a horticultural greenhouse using ray-tracing optical simulations has been investigated, to promote plant growth using a light-quality conversion film dispersed with red inorganic phosphors. Comparing the simulated values with the measured those in a horticultural greenhouse, it can be confirmed that the wide-angle scattering on the short wavelength side and the wavelength conversion characteristics are well reproduced. These results are expected to be applicable to the design of light-quality conversion films suitable for plant growth in the future. |
