[Poster Presentation] Light conversion films for greenhouses prepared by spray-coating with inorganic red phosphor

(in English) Light conversion films coated with inorganic red phosphors have been fabricated by a high-pressure spray method. It could be uniformly applied over a large area onto agricultural film. Through multi-layer coating with added Al₂O₃ nanoparticles, ultraviolet to blue light was scattered, confirming improved excitation and wavelength conversion characteristics of the Mg₂TiO₄:Mn4+ (MTO) phosphor. The optimal number of coating layers to balance transmittance and wavelength conversion efficiency is five. Furthermore, cultivating tomatoes for 20 days in a horticultural greenhouse using this film resulted in an approximately 15% increase in leaf dry weight, demonstrating a photosynthesis-promoting effect.
