In recent years, professional baseball has seen batters find themselves at a disadvantage due to factors such as increased pitching speed, making highly accurate measurement of batted ball data important for batting analysis. Event-based vision cameras are less susceptible to the effects of light and dark and have high time resolution, making it possible to measure batted balls more quickly and accurately than conventional frame cameras. In this study, we investigate a method for measuring the angle, speed, and distance of batted balls with high accuracy using an event-based vision camera, and verify its effectiveness. |
