Tire inspection consists of multiple inspection processes, and accurately performing each process is essential for ensuring safety. Recognizing the actions performed by inspectors is therefore useful for supporting proper inspection procedures. In this paper, we propose an motion recognition method for tire inspection by cooperatively using an object tracking model and a Video Large Language Model (Video-LLM). Conventional approaches that process entire video frames struggle to capture fine-grained actions and task-relevant objects. Our method extracts important object regions and feeds them into the Video-LLM, enabling motion recognition aligned with inspection processes. Experiments on real tire inspection videos quantitatively demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
