In atrial fibrillation treatment, it is crucial to understand the dynamics of atrial excitation. This study proposes a visualization method that maps two-dimensional excitation-propagation data onto a 3D atrial model and displays it using a Spatial Reality Display (SRD). We also introduce a face-tracking-based camera manipulation method that allows users to rotate the atrial model without manual GUI operation. We conducted a user study with medical professionals to compare the proposed SRD visualization and a conventional 2D display. The results showed that most participants preferred the SRD visualization. However, regarding face-tracking-based camera manipulation, some participants expressed caution about its practical application in clinical settings. |
