Visualization System for Music of Violin and Piano Duets

(in English) NHK Science & Technology Research Laboratories (NHK STRL) is developing a novel music visualization system that can present the content and impression of music based on music analysis, visualization design, and software implementation. In the previous work, the music visualization system was utilized for music of piano alone. In this report, we introduce the study of visualization procedure for music of violin and piano duets. We analyzed the characteristics of violin and piano (duets) music and developed a visualization design for them. We also implemented the design in music visualization software for post-production.
