This study proposes a new framework for simulating the motion of small solids in water. While numerous fluid-solid interaction methods exist in computer graphics, most target larger objects relative to the fluid grid or particles approximal as spheres. Consequently, no established method efficiently handles anisotropic small solids like plastic fragments. This study aims to simulate the complex underwater behavior of micro-solids by representing them as a hybrid of SDF and Gaussian Mixture Models (GMM) and efficiently computing their interaction with the fluid using GMM. |
