Computer graphics are widely used in anime production, but physically plausible 3D models struggle to reproduce stylized exaggeration. Artists therefore manually deform character shapes, which is labor intensive. This paper proposes an automatic method to transfer exaggerated expressions from anime or manga images to 3D models. We adopt Free-Form Deformation constrained by a single-view silhouette and optimize an energy function that balances silhouette alignment and shape preservation to achieve stable and visually plausible deformations. |
