A video summarization method utilizing the multimodal features of live streaming videos

This research proposes a video summarization method for live streaming, primarily talk-based streaming, which
has seen a growing market in recent years. The proposed method aims to automate the cutting and editing process for creating
clipped videos from live streaming. Specifically, the method analyzes the time-synchronized comments and audio from the live
streaming and extracts several features. Each of the obtained features is weighted and then integrated to determine an
integrated score. The F-measure was calculated by comparing the interval predicted by the integrated score with the interval of
the ground truth data obtained from the clipped video, and the combination of weights that results in the highest F-measure
was explored. |
