本研究の目的は，アパレル余剰在庫廃棄と入院患児のQOL低下という二つの社会課題に対し，筆者の所属するNPOが実装した「新品のアパレル余剰在庫を用いた，小児入院患者への寄付モデル」を提示することである．NPOでは，この寄付モデルの実装に向け，これまでに法制度の確認や，企業や病院との調整を重ね，企業にとって「負の遺産」でしかなかったアパレル余剰在庫を社会的価値に転換するプロセスを構築した．また，営利から非営利法人への組織変遷を含め，異業種連携による資源循環モデル確立の障壁と，新たな社会的価値創出の方法を検討している． |

The purpose of this study is to present a “donation model for pediatric inpatients using new surplus apparel inventory” implemented by the author's affiliated NPO. This model addresses two societal challenges: the disposal of surplus apparel inventory and the decline in quality of life among hospitalized children. To implement this donation model, the NPO has confirmed legal frameworks and conducted repeated coordination with companies and hospitals, establishing a process that transforms apparel surplus inventory—previously only a “negative legacy” for companies—into social value. Furthermore, including the organizational transition from for-profit to non-profit, the study examines barriers to establishing resource circulation models through cross-industry collaboration and methods for creating new social value. |
